Working with an expert agent to use comparable property analysis and market evaluations to set a fair price from the beginning will get you one step closer to your goals right away.
3. What's it need?
Preparing to sell is, luckily, like preparing to move. Homes are lived in- our best memories and messes happen at home. But when you want to sell, you have to set a fresh stage for potential buyers to envision themselves making their own messes there. Decluttering, depersonalizing, and deep cleaning are all on your agenda now.
4. Marketing
I’ll design a tailored marketing plan to effectively promote your home. This includes listing the property and using targeted strategies—such as social media advertising, agent networking, traditional marketing, and SEO—to attract the right audience. My team focuses on generating maximum exposure for your listing, especially during the critical first three weeks after we begin working together.
5. Evaluate Offers
We always think about the price, but there are so many other terms that make up a purchase offer. Together, we'll evaluate each piece and decide what gets you to your goals in the best way. For example, there may be a full price offer, but they want the right to ask for repairs, versus a less than full price offer to buy your home "as-is". We'll weigh the terms and move forward with your priorities leading the way.
6. Get ready to close
Once you've accepted an offer, we're off to the races. There will likely be a list of to-do's, such as home inspections and appraisals, and we'll work with the buyer's side to get these things done. You'll finalize your moving plan and the title company will keep us informed of their process to legally transfer ownership. When closing day comes, you and the buyer will sign your final documents, the funds will be received and disbursed by the title company, and you'll had over the keys.
